CATZ to Run Strength and Condition Clinics during the Long Island Lizards’ Open Training Camp
Long Island, NY - CATZ of Long Island will be providing its strength and conditioning training services to the Long Island Lizards for all (3) weekends of their upcoming 2007 Open Training Camp. The goal of these clinics is to help improve the on-field performance and stamina for Long Island’s premiere professional lacrosse team. CATZ of Long Island is the Official Athletic Training Partner for the Lizards and is excited to begin working closely with the team.
CATZ offers a unique sport-specific performance training program that meets the needs of an athlete for the demands of their particular sport. During the Lizards camp, CATZ will be running the warm-up session at the start of the day, as well as a rigorous strength and conditioning program to close-out each day of the camp. CATZ has developed a number of dynamic warm-up exercises to stimulate sport-specific movements; as well as having a renowned sport-specific strength and conditioning program that incorporates flexibility, agility, stamina, power, strength and speed to help improve an athlete’s on-field performance.
Although we work closely with a variety of professional sports teams, the main focus at CATZ is the hands-on training of middle school and high school athletes, ranging all sports and ability-levels. At each of the (6) days of the Lizards’ Open Training Camp, we will have our Event Booth setup and staffed by a member of the CATZ team. We welcome youth lacrosse athletes from all over Long Island to stop-by and talk to CATZ about our sport-specific lacrosse training.
