USA volleyball names CATZ the official sports performance & physical therapy provider to the USA Men's National Team

Men’s National Volleyball Team Turns to CATZ for Competitive Edge

(Anaheim, CA) – Competitive Athlete Training Zone (CATZ) is pleased to announce that USA Volleyball has selected CATZ as the Official Sports Performance and Physical Therapy Provider to the USA Men’s National Volleyball Team.

As part of the agreement, CATZ will design and deliver customized performance training programs to all National Team members. In addition, CATZ will also provide physical therapy and rehabilitation services to the National Team.

The National Team will utilize the newest CATZ performance training center in Anaheim, CA for these services. This 6,400 square foot center, located within the American Sports Center at 1500 S. Anaheim Blvd., is a state-of-the-art training facility and physical therapy center.

“We are pleased that USA Volleyball chose CATZ to train the Men’s National Team,” said CATZ Founder and President Jim Liston. “We look forward to working with the National Team to improve their performance on the court while also reducing the risk of injury.”

“The National Team chose CATZ because of their knowledge and background in training elite level athletes,” said National Team Head Coach Hugh McCutcheon, “Add to that CATZ understanding of the demands of volleyball and it was obvious to us that they will be a valuable addition to the program as we prepare for the Olympics in 2008.”
